Histamenon (Gold, 26 mm, 4.37 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis. +IhS XIS RЄX RЄςNANTIҺm Christ, nimbate, seated facing on square-backed throne, wearing tunic and pallium, raising his right hand in benediction and holding book of Gospels in his left. Rev. + MIX ЄVΔK KⲰNS Eudocia standing facing on footstool, wearing crown, saccos and loros and holding jewelled scepter; to left and right, Michael VII and Constantius standing facing, each holding globus cruciger and akakia. DOC 1. SB 1857. Very light doubling on the obverse and a few minor marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
